Bringing Reflection and Healing to Communities Since 1990

Touring North America The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is the most visited National Park Service site in Washington, D.C. The monument commemorates more than 58,000 U.S. soldiers who died or are missing-in-action during the Vietnam War, and has long been noted for its tremendous emotional impact. Although the war exacted a significant toll both at home and overseas, millions of Americans may never visit our nation's capital to experience "The Wall." As a service to communities throughout the nation, Dignity Memorial® funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers created a traveling replica of the monument in 1990. Known as the Dignity Memorial® Vietnam WallTM, the replica has been displayed in more than 200 cities across the country. Millions of Americans have visited the monument to pay tribute to the service-men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for flag and country.

Over the years, the number of cities on the touring schedule has steadily increased. In 1998, the replica visited just 10 cities, but in 2005 it will visit 18 destinations throughout the U.S. Each exhibition is a community-sponsored event, featuring the support and assistance of veterans groups and civic organizations.
